🌟 Join Our New PTO Fundraising Committee! 🌟
We’re excited to launch a new year-round Fundraising Committee to help support student events, classroom needs, building improvements, library resources, and more! This is a great opportunity to get involved, meet other families, and make a real impact at our school.
Committee Structure
2 parents per grade level (K–5)
2 Co-Chairs
Any PTO Board Member (in addition to parent slots)
1–2 Teachers (to give input on fundraiser feasibility and ideas)
Note: Chairs and Board members do not count toward the 2 parent representatives per grade level.
Timing
This is a year-round committee that begins forming at the end of each school year to prepare for the next.
Incoming Kindergarten parents will be invited to join in August, once the school year begins.
Why This Committee Matters
This model helps address several ongoing challenges:
Having enough funds to support PTO events
Gets newer parents involved in PTO early
Expands our core volunteer team
Brings in teacher voices to guide practical, school-friendly fundraisers
Allows us to run larger-scale fundraisers beyond just Read-a-Thon
