PTO Purpose: Support the education and enrichment of students at Wadsworth Elementary School by fostering relationships among the school, parents, teachers, and community at large through volunteer and financial support.

     • $10,779 to start in account and $10,117 balance today
       1. Shirts are only income
       2. Shirts cost $5.99 x150
       3. approximately 150 left - will sell at PTO meetings and events
   • Hair Bows selling fast, sold over 50, $77 cost to make so far
   • Website cost $80 for the year
   • Teacher Back to School Breakfast cost $203
   • Boo hoo Breakfast cost $69
2. Profit Summary Review of 18/19 school year

6. Principal’s Comments – Anna Crawford

• Super Start to the School Year
• New Staff members and staff role changes
• We are at capacity - closed school choice with Kinder as the only option this year
• Pre-planning: Staff discussed “B” is beautiful, professional learning, team building
• “A” District - WES received the most points of pride (1st call from the Superintendent)
• Appetizers with Anna on 8/27 5:30-6:30 (Parent feedback, casual)
• Car riders - lines are long but we are working on it
• Parent Learning Night 9/10 with Dr. Caldwell
• Outdoor Classroom Account currently has $4,700 in it.

 
7. Old Business – Discussion

• School Spirit Shirts - rocket design almost sold out
• Back to School Jam was a success - good turnout
• Meet the Teacher - good turnout
• Boohoo Breakfast was successful
• Events on the website that have passed will show as completed

 
8. New Business

• Partnership with the Preserve for birthday books - kids are loving it
• Teacher Incentive for PTO Involvement - 1 point for each meeting or event attended per person. Mrs. Clemmons will team with 1st grade. Mrs. Miller will team with 6th grade. Also in attendance - Mrs. Kimball from kindergarten, Mr. Harris from 1st grade, and Mrs. Dormandy for 6th grade.
