PTO Purpose: Support the education and enrichment of students at Wadsworth Elementary School by fostering relationships among the school, parents, teachers, and community at large through volunteer and financial support.

5. Vice President’s Comments - Grant Richter

- Fall Festival - Asked for Volunteers
- Thankful for parent involvement
- Finished first 9 weeks of school
- Friday morning, October 18th, Revving up for grade - will leave GSB at 7:15am
- Red Ribbon Week is October 21st - 25th, our Guidance Counselors created fun and affordable days for students and staff to participate
- Literacy Character Parade will be 10/31 at 9:30am. Parents are welcome. Children are encouraged to dress as a book character.
- PBS Dance 11/1 for 5th & 6th grade students
- October 21st is Safe Schools Week
- We moved from a C to a B grade. The school will receive $95,000 to share with employees who were here last school year. Only 5 schools in Flagler received this. Bi-laws are in place for disbursement.

8. New Business
- Fall Festival Event - October 25th
- Cosponsor for the movie
- Dr. Crawford mentioned Mr. Rizzo from the Ed Foundation is going to cover cost of movie up to a certain amount. Mr. Terry looking for inflatable seating for outdoors. Info to follow on movie title.
- We have been asked to sell popcorn and sodas near the movie
- We are going to have a photo booth
- We would also like to put together $1 and $2 goodie bags to sell for tickets and sell spirit shirts.
- First All Pro Dads Breakfast is October 18th at 7:45am. They will donate for Birthday books this year.
- Partnership with the Preserve to provide students with books for their birthdays. All Pro Dad’s offered to donate as well.
- Incentive for Teacher Involvement - Year end lunch for most involved grade level
- Sign up sheets for PTO Fundraiser Events Help passed around
- Holiday Shop Planning Meeting set up
- This helps grade levels with field trips.
- Dr. Crawford added: Mr. Rizzo has a link to community sponsor that is going to get us a float in the Flagler Beach Parade (Christmas Parade), $1,000 from the Ed Foundation to sponsor the float
- Sign-up sheet passed around for help with the float and the day of the parade
